Class Descriptions
- Aquatic Total Fitness – Level II — (45 minutes) This energetic pool-based class is designed to increase strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, and cardiovascular endurance. It incorporates the use of aquatic dumbbells, ankle cuffs, gloves, and noodles.
- Aquatic Total Fitness – Level I — (45 minutes) This class is similar to Level II, but is less vigorous.
- Aquatic Arthritis — (45 minutes) This is the Arthritis Foundation’s water workout. It includes exercises to improve the participant’s overall function and performance of daily tasks, mobility, gait, independence, flexibility, balance and coordination. It is appropriate for individuals with arthritis and other related diseases, as well as sedentary adults who are generally de-conditioned and cannot endure sustained activity.
- Open Swim — a supervised time to swim, walk laps, float on a noodle or soak in the Jacuzzi.
